Remote delivery from Ottawa
Kingston is a day trip from Ottawa. In-person meetings are available on request; everything else happens online.
A deployed link every week
Each week you open a deployed link and use the real product, in the same Eastern time zone as our team.
Senior engineers only
A small team without an engineering group of its own gets senior engineers directly, with no project-manager layer between you.
A scoped plan in one business day
Send a brief at /start, however rough, and an engineer replies with a scoped plan within one business day.
Between Ottawa and Toronto
Kingston sits in Eastern Ontario, about two hours from Ottawa by road, and shares our time zone. We have no Kingston office. The work runs remotely, and in-person meetings are available on request.
A university and healthcare city
Kingston's economy leans on education, healthcare and research, so products here often handle student, patient or research data. Those projects deserve a plain conversation about data before any code is written.
If your product handles patient records, name any review or approval step in your brief and the scoped plan will say what is in and out of scope.
Small teams and first builds
Many Kingston organizations are small teams or founders without an in-house engineering group. Founders who have the idea but not the team are one of the main groups we build for.
For a first build, a deployed link every week means you can see progress, correct course early and decide what to do next while the work is still cheap to change.

Three minutes at /start: describe the project. An engineer replies with a scoped plan within one business day, not a sales call.
