How an AI development project runs
It starts with a brief at /start. An engineer reads it and replies within one business day with a scoped plan: what to build first, what data it needs, and how we will know it works.
The first deliverable is a thin slice wired to your real data, not a slide deck or a notebook demo. From there you get a deployed link every week, so you can try the feature with your own cases while it is being built.
You own the code from day one: the prompts, retrieval pipelines, evaluation sets and model code live in your repository, not in a black box only we can run.
Evaluation before launch
Before tuning a single prompt, we collect real examples from your domain and turn them into an evaluation set. Every change to a prompt, model or retrieval step is measured against it, so improvements are visible and regressions are caught before your users see them.
In production, the same discipline continues: guardrails on what the model may do, fallbacks when it is unsure, and a clear handoff to a person when a decision should not be automated.
Your data, handled deliberately
Your data stays in your infrastructure wherever possible. We design integrations so sensitive data is not sent to third-party models unnecessarily, and we document what leaves your systems and why.

Data residency and privacy law in Canada
When your data must stay in Canada, we can deploy to Canadian cloud regions, such as AWS Canada Central in Montreal, Microsoft Azure Canada Central in Toronto and Canada East in Quebec City, or Google Cloud in Montreal and Toronto. We can also deploy to servers you already run, and we choose model providers and hosting to match. Where a model provider has no Canadian region, we say so up front and design around it, for example by keeping personal information out of the prompt.
PIPEDA is Canada's federal private-sector privacy law, and Quebec's Law 25 adds provincial rules on top. We are engineers, not your privacy adviser, so we build to the obligations you and your adviser define: a record of who accessed what, an encryption review, and a clear account of where data is stored.
