Devino Solutions Inc is headquartered in Ottawa, Ontario, and the team is remote-first. Here is how a project runs for teams in each region we are asked about, starting with the one closest to home.
Ottawa
Kanata, Orleans, Nepean and Eastern Ontario, including Cornwall
Ottawa is our headquarters. Teams across the city and Eastern Ontario can work with us remotely by default, so the brief, the scoped plan and the weekly deployed links all happen online, and in-person meetings are available on request.
Gatineau
the Quebec side of the National Capital Region
Gatineau is across the Ottawa River, about 10 to 20 minutes from Ottawa by road. The work runs remotely and in English, and in-person meetings are available on request. If a product for Quebec users needs French, the scoped plan states what we can and cannot cover.
Kingston
Kingston and Eastern Ontario
Kingston is about two hours from Ottawa by road, in the same time zone. The build runs remotely, and in-person meetings are available on request.
Montreal
Montreal and Laval
Montreal is about two hours from Ottawa by road, in the same time zone. We work in English, remotely, and in-person meetings are available on request. If your product has to serve French-speaking users, say so in your brief.
Toronto
Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area, including Mississauga, Markham and Brampton
Toronto is about four and a half to five hours from Ottawa by road, in the same time zone. We have no Toronto office, so every project is remote by default: a scoped plan within one business day, then a deployed link every week.
Quebec City
Quebec City and Sherbrooke
Quebec City is about five hours from Ottawa by road, and Sherbrooke about three and a half. Projects there are remote by default and in English, and the scoped plan is plain about French.
