A community-driven library

The whole library is contributed by students, so it keeps growing on its own. Search and filtering make it easy to find material by school and course.

Built to scale on AWS

We built uNotes with Next.js and TypeScript on AWS, owning the infrastructure and DevOps so the platform stays fast and reliable as the community and its document library grow.

Study anywhere

Beyond the web, uNotes ships as apps for Mac/iOS, Android, and Windows, with offline support so students can keep studying anywhere.

Search growth

Proof: Google Search Console, unotes.net

SEO was a deliberate workstream on uNotes: programmatic school and course pages, clean crawlable document routes, structured data, and a sitemap that keeps up with a library students grow themselves. The Search Console export below is the result over the last twelve months.

Google now shows uNotes about 79x more often than it did a year ago (9,990 impressions in the first four weeks on record versus 793K in the last four), and clicks from search grew from 2,371 to 10,380 over the same two windows. Impressions lead clicks: the library is being found for far more queries than it ranks first for yet, which is the next lever.
