What Upup is

We build and maintain Upup ourselves: an open-source npm component that handles your file-upload needs with drag & drop, instant previews, and cloud storage integrations for Google Drive, OneDrive, S3, and webcam.

It is built to drop into any React app with minimal configuration — no nasty configs or painful APIs.

Upload from anywhere

Connecting a cloud source is one click: choosing Google Drive opens an account picker, then Upup browses and searches the account for the file you want.

Preview, then ship to the cloud

Before uploading, users get an instant preview of the selected file, then Upup streams it straight to the configured cloud storage.

Dogfooded in production

We run Upup in our own products: it is the uploader behind unotes.net, where files picked from Google Drive land in cloud storage on AWS.
