Caramel is one of our own products: an open-source alternative to Honey. The full code is public, and the browser extension automatically finds and applies the best coupon code at checkout.
It does that without selling your data or hijacking creators' commissions — just working coupons and cashback offers.
At checkout, Caramel tests and stacks every working coupon it can find, then keeps the combination that lands the lowest price.
The source lives on GitHub under our DevinoSolutions organization, and the extension is available on Safari, Chrome, and Firefox.

Caramel launched with almost no search presence. Comparison pages against the incumbents, a store listing kept in sync with the site, and answer-style docs for the queries people actually type turned that around inside a quarter.
Over the last 90 days Google showed Caramel 17K times, up from 6,874 in the 90 days before, and clicks roughly doubled (449 to 935). The query "honey alternative extension" now ranks in the top two.
